Purpose and fitment

The presented window has been designed specifically for the rear right side of the Audi A8 4E D3 generation body. It corresponds to the geometry of the factory doors, which allows for precise seating in the guides and proper cooperation with the lifting mechanism and seals. The location on the vehicle is clearly defined as the rear right side, which facilitates the selection of the correct component for post-accident repairs, replacement after mechanical damage, or during the restoration of a premium class vehicle.

AS2 twin-pane glass construction

The AS2 twin-pane glass is a solution used in higher-class vehicles, where acoustic comfort and proper insulation from the surroundings are important. This type of construction:

• limits the penetration of noise from the outside into the passenger cabin,
• supports the maintenance of stable thermal conditions in the interior,
• ensures appropriate rigidity of the pane while maintaining the required safety standards. Thanks to this, the rear part of the Audi A8 cabin remains better isolated from road noise, which is particularly important in cars used for comfortable long-distance travel.

Product characteristics and installation

As an element from the Car windows group, the rear right door window has been prepared for installation in place of the factory component without the need for door structure modifications. The appropriate edge profiling enables correct sealing and smooth operation in the guides. The product comes from dismantling and is offered as a used part, which allows for economical vehicle repair while maintaining the manufacturer's original specifications. This type of solution is particularly beneficial for body repairs, where compliance with factory dimensions and manufacturing standards is essential.

Practical application

Replacing the rear right window is recommended in the case of cracks, scratches that hinder visibility, edge damage, or problems with proper door closing. Using an original Audi window allows you to maintain:

• a consistent appearance of the side body line,
• proper cooperation with seals and the lifting mechanism,
• the acoustic comfort intended for the A8 4E D3 model. For body and paint workshops and services specializing in the Audi brand, this is a practical solution for comprehensive repairs of the side part of the body.

Expansion of offer and technical knowledge

If you are planning a comprehensive repair or modernization of the side glazing zone in your Audi and need other elements from the same group, such as side door windows, quarter glass, or additional panes in the rear doors, check the available parts in the Audi car windows category. When selecting used body elements, it is worth being guided by knowledge about which components are safe to buy second-hand. A detailed discussion of this issue can be found in the article Renovation and repair of German cars: which used parts are worth buying and which are better to avoid?, which will facilitate making an informed decision when planning further service work.
