Purpose and fitment for Audi A7 4G

The presented glass has been designed as a component for the rear, right part of the body in the Audi A7 4G generation model. Its placement in the side body zone means it is responsible for both the aesthetics of the car's line and proper illumination of the interior. Using original body glass allows for maintaining factory-fit alignment with seals, the body frame, and other vehicle windows.

Characteristics of the AS2 green glass

Glass marked with the AS2 grade is a solution used as standard in many premium class models, ensuring an appropriate level of light transmission while limiting excessive interior heating. The green tint of the glass improves driving comfort in sunny conditions while harmonizing with the factory styling of Audi glazing. This type of body glass is designed with dimensional stability and resistance to typical operational loads in mind.

Function in the body structure

The rear right quarter window glass in the Audi A7 4G plays an important role in the construction of the side body section. It is responsible for:

• stiffening the rear zone within the pillars and window frame,
• maintaining the continuity of the fastback body styling line,
• proper illumination of the rear passenger cabin,
• reducing noise and airflow thanks to proper sealing. Using original glass from the same component group as the other glazing allows for maintaining the optical and technical consistency of the entire window set.

Used condition and benefits of choosing OEM

The item comes from the used parts group, which allows for combining an attractive purchase cost with the preservation of factory build quality. Original Audi glass is designed for long-term operation, precise fitment to the body, and compatibility with factory seals and mounting strips. In practice, this means fewer problems during installation and a better fit than in the case of replacements of unknown origin. Support with selection and expansion of the glazing zone

In the case of replacing this glass, it is crucial to match it to the specific body configuration and the vehicle's other glazing. If necessary, it is worth verifying compatibility with the markings on the other windows to maintain a uniform glass type and color. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or modernization of the side glazing zone in your Audi and need other elements from the same group, such as door windows, fixed side windows, or additional body glazing, check the available parts in the Audi car windows category.
