Purpose and fitment

The presented window glass has been designed specifically for the BMW F22 series coupe body and is installed in the rear right quarter area of the vehicle. Its placement on the vehicle in the rear – right zone ensures a proper fit to the body lines and correct compatibility with seals and trim strips. As an item in the Car windows category, this part is responsible for the proper lateral rigidity of the body, passive safety, and acoustic comfort inside the vehicle.

Characteristics of AS3 glass and tinting function

The AS3 marking indicates the use of glass with a higher degree of tinting, which translates into:

• reduced penetration of sunlight into the cabin interior,
• limited heating of the rear part of the vehicle,
• better protection against glare for passengers from the lights of vehicles behind,
• increased privacy due to the darker surface of the glass. The tinted construction of the glass also helps protect upholstery elements from fading, which is significant during long-term vehicle use.

Condition, origin, and benefits of choosing used glass

The offered window glass comes from a BMW vehicle and is marked as used, which allows for combining original fitment with an attractive purchase price. Choosing such an element is a sensible solution for users who want to maintain the factory character of the body while optimizing the costs of repair or replacement of damaged glass. Safety and installation aspects

The rear right side window in the coupe version plays an important role in the side structure of the vehicle, which is why its correct installation is important for both safety and body tightness. Placement in the rear right zone requires maintaining proper geometry and correct seating in the body frame, which minimizes the risk of stress and leaks. When replacing, it is recommended to use a professional glass service or a workshop specializing in the BMW brand to maintain the appropriate rigidity of connections, tightness, and the aesthetics of the side body line.
