Purpose and function in the centre console

The presented armrest with holder, tray, and cover is an element from the Centre and roof consoles group, designed specifically for the interior of the Audi A3 8P generation. It combines several functions: a comfortable armrest for the driver and front passenger, a lockable storage compartment for small items, and a practical space for organizing everyday objects. A solution of this type improves interior ergonomics – the most frequently used accessories (keys, documents, phone, small items) can be stored in one easily accessible place. The centre console area becomes more organized, which positively affects driving comfort and the daily use of the vehicle.

Construction, material, and ergonomics of use

The armrest construction includes a cover, a holder part, and an integrated storage tray. The material used has been selected to match the factory Audi interior finish, ensuring the element blends well with the dashboard and other console panels. This solution provides:

• comfortable forearm support while driving,
• easy access to the contents of the storage compartment after lifting the cover,
• the ability to organize small items on the tray,
• a cohesive, aesthetic look for the centre tunnel area. Thanks to its factory geometry, the element is matched to the shape of the Audi A3 8P centre console, which facilitates installation and allows for maintaining the original interior lines.

Product characteristics and fitment

The armrest is an original component from the Audi brand, originating from the interior equipment group. As a part removed from a vehicle, it retains a construction consistent with the manufacturer's factory standards, which translates into proper fitment with the mounts in the centre tunnel. The product has an assigned OEM part number and appropriate interchangeable numbers, which facilitates verification of compatibility with a specific version of the Audi A3 8P. Additionally, it is marked in the warehouse system with an individual SKU, which allows for quick identification of this exact item in the store's offer. The element is offered as used, which is a beneficial solution for those looking for original interior components at a reasonable price, while maintaining factory construction and fitment.

Practical application and benefits of installation

Installing this armrest in an Audi A3 8P allows you to restore the full functionality of the centre console in case of damage, wear, or the absence of the original element. This is particularly important for:

• interior renovation after intensive use,
• replacing missing elements after disassembly,
• repairs after collisions involving the centre tunnel,
• upgrading an interior from a version without an armrest to a version with additional storage. Restoring the factory functionality of the storage compartment and arm support improves driving comfort on longer trips and increases the overall utility value of the vehicle. For many drivers, this is also an element that influences the perceived quality of the interior and the convenience of daily car use.
