Purpose and fitment

The strip is a component from the Door Upholstery group, designed specifically for the rear right side of the body in the Mercedes E-Class W212 generation. The placement on the vehicle is clearly defined, which facilitates the selection of the correct component during interior repairs and minimizes the risk of errors when ordering. The original design ensures:

• perfect fit with the factory door panel,
• proper adhesion to other upholstery elements,
• preservation of the styling line characteristic of the Mercedes W212 interior.

Construction and functional properties

The aluminium finish of the strip gives the interior a consistent, classic character, in line with the factory Mercedes styling. The smooth surface is easy to keep clean, and the properly selected profile allows for stable mounting at the original attachment points in the door. The element has been designed as part of the door upholstery system, which means it:

• does not require modifications or adjustments during installation,
• allows for an aesthetic finish of the edges and contours of the door panel,
• helps maintain a uniform look for the entire side of the passenger cabin.

Condition and service application

The product is a used original component, which in practice means it retains its factory geometry and compatibility with the Mercedes W212 door structure. This is a beneficial solution for accident repairs, replacing worn finishes, or restoring the interior to a condition close to factory-new without the need to resort to replacements with uncertain fitment. Choosing the original rear right door upholstery strip allows you to:

• maintain visual consistency with other trim elements,
• preserve the interior quality standard characteristic of Mercedes,
• reduce installation time thanks to factory mounting points.

Integration with other interior elements

The Mercedes W212 Door Strip Rear Right O/S Cover Trim Aluminium Interior works with other door panel components, such as door cards, handles, or frames, creating a uniform, organized surface. Precise fitment to the specific side and axis of the vehicle facilitates quick installation in service or workshop conditions. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the door and panel area in your Mercedes and need other elements from the same group, such as strips, panels, or decorative inserts, check the available parts in the Mercedes Door Upholstery category.
