Purpose and function of the module

The presented module is a component of the passenger-side control system, responsible for handling signaling and switching functions related to air circulation and the operation of associated indicator lights. As part of the original Ford installation, it works with factory wiring, connectors, and control units, which minimizes the risk of communication errors in the vehicle's network. A solution of this type is particularly important in vehicles equipped with advanced comfort systems, where the correct operation of intermediate modules affects the stability of the entire system. Using an original component allows for the maintenance of the manufacturer-intended logic of operation and the appropriate response of the indicator lights on the dashboard.

Compatibility and integration with the Ford installation

The Passenger Air Module and Indicator Light Switch has been designed for direct integration with the Ford B-Max electronics, without the need for harness modifications or connector adaptations. This means maintaining the factory connection standard, which facilitates installation and limits the risk of damage to other system components. In practice, this translates into:

• reliable communication with other controllers in the vehicle,
• correct operation of associated indicator lights and signaling,
• maintaining consistency with the software used in the specific car unit. Thanks to this, the module can be used both when replacing a damaged component and when restoring full system functionality after accident repairs or interventions in the installation.

Product characteristics and condition

The offered item comes from the group of original Ford parts, which means it has been designed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's requirements regarding electrical parameters, resistance to operating conditions, and durability. This is a used part, which in practice allows for an economical restoration of system efficiency while maintaining factory specifications. In the case of electrical modules, it is particularly important to maintain compliance with the factory standard – using an original component limits the risk of errors appearing in the diagnostic system, incorrect indicator light illumination, or random interruptions in the operation of comfort functions.

Application in service and repairs

Ford B-Max Passenger Air Module Indicator Light On/Off Unit AV1T-14B418-AB will prove useful both in professional service centers and in workshops specializing in the Ford brand. It can be used for:

• diagnostics and troubleshooting related to incorrect operation of passenger-side indicator lights,
• installation repairs after collisions, when the original module has suffered mechanical or electrical damage,
• restoring full functionality of the air vent system and associated control elements. Using an original module allows for reducing the time required for adaptation and configuration, and also facilitates subsequent computer diagnostics, as the operating parameters remain consistent with factory assumptions. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the passenger cockpit area in your Ford and need other elements from the same group, such as control modules, switches, or additional indicator lights, check the available parts in the Other Ford category.

Selection support and technical knowledge

Selecting the correct electrical module for a specific Ford B-Max equipment version requires paying attention to the manufacturer's markings and the vehicle's configuration. Proper component matching allows for avoiding compatibility issues and eliminates the risk of an unsuccessful purchase. In this context, it may be helpful to use guide materials, such as a practical guide to searching for unusual car parts online, where the importance of catalog numbers and equipment specifics is discussed.
