Purpose and fitment

The lamp has been designed specifically for the E90 LCI (facelift) body version, with placement in the rear – right side of the vehicle area. The appropriate housing geometry and factory mounting points facilitate installation in place of the original lamp, without the need for bodywork or electrical modifications. By maintaining the correct lens shape and light chamber layout, the component allows for maintaining proper vehicle visibility from the rear as well as clear signaling of braking and changing direction.

Function in the lighting system

BMW E90 LCI Rear Lamp Taillight Light Side Panel Right O/S operates within the Rear lights and brake lights system, responsible for the correct display of light signals on the right side of the vehicle. The lamp construction is adapted to work with the factory electrical installation, which promotes stable lighting parameters and reduces the risk of errors in onboard systems. A properly designed light distribution helps maintain good vehicle visibility in road traffic, which is important for both safety and compliance with the homologation requirements provided for this model.

Characteristics of the used component

The offered lamp comes from the used BMW parts segment, which allows for an economical repair while maintaining the original construction. This type of component is particularly beneficial for post-accident repairs, where the priority is matching the factory appearance of the vehicle and compatibility with the existing installation. Choosing a used OEM element reduces the risk of installation problems typical of replacements with different geometry, while simultaneously allowing for the maintenance of visual consistency of the rear part of the body.

Benefits of using an original lamp

• Factory fitment to the E90 LCI body on the right rear side of the vehicle.
• Consistent look with other BMW rear lamps.
• Compatibility with the original wiring harness and control system.
• Possibility of economical repair while maintaining OEM parts.
