Purpose and compatibility

The presented interior mirror has been designed specifically for selected BMW E60, E61, E65, E90, and E91 series models. The OEM construction ensures a proper fit to the windshield mount and correct integration with the vehicle's electrical system, which facilitates installation and reduces the risk of compatibility issues. Thanks to its appropriate positioning in the vehicle's rear visibility zone, the mirror provides the driver with a stable, clear view of the space behind the car, which is important both for city driving and on the road.

EC technology and LED lighting

The mirror is equipped with an electrochromic EC function, which automatically reduces the intensity of light reflected from the headlights of vehicles behind. This reduces glare and improves driving comfort, especially when driving at night or in heavy traffic conditions. The integrated LED lighting provides uniform, energy-efficient illumination of selected interior elements, making it easier to use the cabin after dark. LED technology is characterized by a long service life and a stable light beam, which translates into predictable performance over a long period of operation.

Characteristics of the used component

The offered mirror is a used component, sourced from dismantling, which allows for an economical replacement of a damaged or non-functional part while maintaining original manufacturing quality. This type of solution is particularly beneficial for cars that are several or a dozen years old, where the priority is to maintain functionality and consistency of equipment at reasonable service costs. Choosing an original interior mirror from dismantling reduces the risk of fitment problems typical of universal aftermarket replacements and allows you to maintain the factory character of the vehicle's interior.

Benefits of installing the EC LED interior mirror

Installing this mirror model in a BMW E60, E61, E65, E90, or E91 series brings a number of practical benefits:

• improved night driving comfort thanks to automatic EC dimming,
• stable, predictable visibility of the area behind the vehicle,
• maintaining a consistent, factory look of the interior,
• energy savings thanks to the use of LED technology,
• economical repair through the use of an original used component. For users who value functionality and ergonomics, such a mirror is a sensible choice when replacing a damaged part or upgrading the vehicle with a more advanced mirror version.

Technical support and additional information

Before purchasing, it is worth verifying the mirror's compatibility with the specific equipment version of the vehicle, especially regarding the presence of the electrochromic function and LED lighting in the car's original configuration. In case of doubt, it is helpful to compare the shape, mounting type, and electrical connectors with the component currently installed in the vehicle. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the interior visibility zone in your BMW and need other components from the same group, such as side mirrors, mirror glass, or additional accessories improving visibility, check the available parts in the BMW Rear view mirrors category.
