Purpose and placement in the vehicle

The presented wiring harness is intended for installation in the rear right part of the vehicle, in the area of the side panel and the lamp. It is responsible for a stable electrical connection between the lighting module and the rest of the installation, which is important for both position lights and other lamp functions, depending on the specific vehicle configuration. Thanks to the factory fit for the CLA C117 body, the harness maintains the correct wire routing, appropriate segment lengths, and compatible connectors, which facilitates installation and reduces the risk of installation errors.

Benefits of using an original Mercedes wiring harness

Using an original wiring harness in the rear right part of the body provides a number of practical benefits:

• maintaining compliance with the vehicle's factory electrical diagram,
• secure connection with the original lamp and body installation connectors,
• reducing the risk of installation errors typical of modifications and makeshift wiring,
• easier diagnostics of potential lighting faults in the future. For the user, this means more predictable lighting system operation and a lower risk of communication issues with control modules, which in modern Mercedes vehicles are sensitive to the quality of electrical connections.

Characteristics of the used component

The offered wiring harness is a used part, sourced from dismantling. This type of part is particularly attractive for post-accident repairs or replacing damaged installations in the area of the rear right lamp when you want to maintain the factory design at a reasonable cost. A used harness allows you to recreate the original wire routing without the need to manually fabricate connections.

Application in repairs and upgrades

The rear right lamp wiring harness in the Mercedes CLA C117 will prove particularly useful in situations where:

• wires have been damaged as a result of a collision or bodywork,
• it is necessary to replace the lamp along with a section of the installation,
• intermittent lighting errors occur related to a circuit break or a damaged connector,
• you want to restore the factory state of the installation after previous, unprofessional modifications. Choosing an original harness from the Wires, Plugs and Connectors group allows you to maintain the consistency of the electrical installation with service documentation and facilitates subsequent vehicle maintenance. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the rear electrical installation zone in your Mercedes and need other elements from the same group, such as wire sections, dedicated plugs, or complete connectors, check the available parts in the Mercedes Wires, Plugs and Connectors category.

Technical support and cost optimization

When planning repairs of electrical installations and other components, it is worth consciously choosing used parts to optimize service costs without sacrificing factory quality.
