Purpose and function of the component

The described cover is dedicated to the rear right side of the body in the Jaguar Xk8 X100 model, where it serves as a side trim integrated with a practical pocket. This element is responsible for aesthetically covering structural body parts and organizing the space in the rear of the cabin. Using an original trim allows for maintaining color and material consistency of the interior, which is particularly important in premium class vehicles.

Construction and fitment for Jaguar Xk8 X100

The cover has been designed as part of the Linings, decorative strips, and trims group, which means its geometry, mounting points, and profile are adapted to the factory mounts in the bodywork. The construction ensures a precise fit against adjacent upholstery elements, preventing unwanted gaps or misalignments after installation. The integrated pocket allows for convenient storage of small items in the rear of the interior without interfering with the original cabin layout.

Characteristics of the used component

The presented cover comes from the secondary market, which allows for an economical repair or restoration of the factory interior look without the need for new components. A used trim element is a good solution in situations where the existing cover has suffered mechanical damage, cracking, or visible wear. Choosing an original component from dismantling helps maintain proper fitment and compatibility with the remaining upholstery panels.

Benefits of using an original side cover

Using a factory finish in the rear right part of the Jaguar Xk8 X100 interior provides a number of practical benefits:

• maintaining a consistent cabin look thanks to original geometry and surface texture,
• secure fit to factory mounting points, without the need for modifications,
• restoration of the functional pocket in the side of the interior,
• possibility of local repair of a damaged upholstery fragment without interfering with other panels. For owners who care about preserving the original character of the Jaguar Xk8 X100 interior, installing such an element is a sensible way to restore the aesthetics and functionality of the rear cabin area.
